How we started
I have always collected things since a young boy. I loved the way an inanimate object could inspire such wonderment: a tale to be told, from a possible far-flung place. As a Adult, I turned it into a obsession, becoming transfixed on Ancient Empires & how they were engulfed by the Modern World.
These two things, History, Modernity & Travel, shaped my path, becoming experts on both. I have garnered a Bachelor's & Master's in Art History & a Bachleor's in Archaeology. I also own a substantial personal collection of Antiquités & Fine Art, collected from the past 40 years.
Professionally, I fell into the Transport business & that's because I saw a opportunity to do it better than anyone else in Australia. 18 years ago, that's when I decided to combine the two things. Passion + Know how = Business Tour De Force.

It then just became a matter of then how to use, all of that raw material & my mantra has always to be more than the sum of our parts. Sure, business is about beating the competition, but I believe unless there is real affinity with the Customer, then you are just a empty vessel.
Empathy is the key: I am exactly like you. I am also a collector. I want to trust the person I am buying from. I want to receive my items quickly. I want a wholly professional experience, from purchase to delivery and I want to be able to contact my Seller, if I ever have any possible future questions. Well, I made that happen.
We started small & gradually but ourselves from reputation & word of mouth. We firmly believe that if your service & product is exceptionally, then you don't need to advertise it.
Meeting other like-minded people, in other parts of the World, helped expand our capacity, reach & service. Crucially though, we have kept ourselves at a manageable size & employ a select exclusive freelance roster when needed. Let me know introduce our Team below:
Shania has had extensive experience in Customer Service over a period of 20 years, heading up divisions at the Australia Postal Services & Award Winning Companies such as Flexischools, ING & HSBC. She is the front face of our Company, maintaining & solidifying existing relationships, while attending to to the wishes of our new client. Her credentials are impeccable.
Andrea Lemon: Logistics Specialist
Andrea has extensive & in-depth logistical knowledge, of handling Packing, Shipping (both by Sea & Air), Customs, Client viewings & working with multiple suppliers simultaneously, while working at DHL & UPS, 10 years respectively. She is the Powerhouse of Coomber's & makes the whole process run as smooth as silk.
Dr. Chris Morris: Fine Art & Antique Specialist
Chris has both a Bachelor, Masters & a Doctorate in Art History. He also our Senior Business Partner & lends a hand with our Fine Art & Antiques section, should it be needed. Chris has accumulated a vast portfolio of his own & also Trades during his spare time (work allowing of course). After leaving Sydney University, he exclusively worked for some of the major Auction Houses in Australia, including Bonhams & Phillips. All told Chris has clocked up over 30 years experience with Antiques and Fine Art.
Jason Walters: Furniture Specialist
Jane Alexander: Fine Art Specialist & Authenticator
Jane has a Doctorate in the Forensic Science's with a Specialty in Document Examination & Pigment testing. She has freelanced globally, for major Galleries, Auction Houses , Police Forces, International Criminal Agencies & Authentication Companies. She has also extensively collected Modern Post-War Prints and original paintings for over 25 years. Due to her talents, she has also given Expert Witness, to several major Court Cases both at home & abroad. Jane has also a medium sized but highly specialised collection of original paintings, having had one of her most recent Basiquat's sell for just under half a million Dollars at Auction.
